Abstract
An interview with the sociologist Víctor Zúñiga presents an account of his trajectory as a teacher and researcher across different academic institutions and highlights his contributions to the development of human talent. The interview also outlines his recommendations for addressing the educational needs of transnational migrant students, a field in which he has been a pioneer through internationally recognized studies. In addition, it examines his experiences in promoting democratic citizenship. The conversation includes a series of reflections on the production of scientific texts and academic writing. It concludes with proposals aimed at fostering the construction of more inclusive and socially just schools.
